| News 01.19.10: Jenny Delaleu, our Executive Secretary attended a meeting at Stony Brook Medical Center directed by CEO, Dr. Strongwater in order to combine efforts of the university and medical center staff. This meeting was an effort to organize and efficiently streamline all of the gracious efforts of all those attempting to help the earthquake victims of Haiti. A sub committee has been formed. In addition, a trip overseas to Haiti may be facilitated by Dr. Shanley, Associate Dean for International Programs within the coming week. 01.5.10: Executive Secretary, Jenny Delaleu met with the Uniondale school district and Supervisor Kate Murray of the Town of Hempstead at a conference to combine all efforts in a concerted fashion to assist both those suffering in Haiti and the heartbroken youth, friends and families of Uniondale. A subcommittee has been formed. 01.14.10: Our founder, Eddy Delaleu has redirected his efforts at assisting the injured and homeless. 01.12.10: Haiti has been hit with a catastrophic earthquake, measuring 7.1 on the richter scale - leveling PAP, destroying homes and precious lives. 08.01.09: Jenny our Executive Secretary has teamed up with Dr. Lesly Ed Archer, MD, MPH from Montreal Canada, Medical Director of Adventist Hospital of Diquini Haiti, to launch The Operation Hope Mobile Clinic Project in Haiti. They are currently working on data collection with the assistance of our on site Administrator, Mr. Jhim Laury Batalien for a more torough evaluation of the current medical and social needs of targetted populations. Within a month, they will submit their findindgs to the Board and hopefully with the financial support of our donors, we will be able to kick off this program by August 1, 2009.
