Yesterday, the members of the SNMA (Student National Medical Association) held an event called "Diaspora of Color" in celebration of Black History Month.  Operation Hope was invited to speak on their experience in Haiti during their HERP medical mission of earlier this month.

Operation Hope was presented with check for $3,000.00 for those afflicted by the earthquake in Haiti.  Operation Hope was also presented with a plaque of appreciation. Many thanks to the all the members of SNMA, including Ms. Jemella Raymore, Community Service Chairperson and Mr. Obi Ndum, the Co-President of SNMA.

We would also like to thank our Public Relations Consultant and Advisor Mr. Frantz Dorsainvil for his time and assistance during our presentation that evening.
